Extended week-day hours?

I know a lot of you folks shop at myLocalHomeBrewShop on Saturdays, and we appreciate it! And like you we are keenly aware that the shop is especially busy on Saturdays and I am trying to think of ways to make things easier. One idea would be to stay open later one weeknight to allow some folks coming up from the city to get to us more easily, possibly even over a saturday trip in. How does the collective feel about:
1. We stay open until 7 PM on Wednesday's, or something along those lines.
2. Would this save you a Saturday trip?
3. Do you prefer another option?
Feedback is welcome. If you don't want to create a somewhat OT chain here, feel free to email: Derek[thatatsymbol]myLHBS.com

Thanks for the comments. Unfortunately, Sunday's are out for me as that is the only day I get to spend time with my family. Even with closing at 6 during the week, and 5 on Saturdays, I typically don't get home until their bedtime. Unfortunately, that's the nature of being a small business owner -- the forfeiture of what most take for granted.
Same reason I'm not open on Mondays's. That's the only time I can do admin work and also brew on occassion, whether for the newsletter or just my own satisfaction. That and we were open Monday's for the first year and no one really came in until mid-week when people started to focus on the weekend ahead. And that does make sense -- I don't think "beer" on Monday so much as "ugh, work again" either.
A couple of people have suggested some kind of a once-a-month schedule. While I like that idea I doubt it would work simply because 50% of our regulars won't remember *which* Sunday. People get very busy -- and in this area understandably so -- and just make a mental note of "Sunday..." nevermind which one or the corresponding hours.
Anyway, I'm still actively considering later Wednesday's. The real question is how late can I stay (I have to pick up my high school-age daughter from band practice on a fixed weekly schedule) and whether it would help enough people to do.
Please feel free to add more comments. And thanks again.
I like the idea of later
I like the idea of later week nights, it might help. Another option might be to be open on Sunday once a month. Traffic in and out of DC makes night driving from the city hectic. I usually don't leave the city until after 7 to get to VA so I can use R66 after carpool hours.
Sunday seconded, although
Sunday seconded, although I'd still probably only come out occasionally for replacement yeast and the like since I tend to schedule brew-day for Saturday. Like Mike, it wouldn't help me to stay open late on a weekday unless you were able to stay open until later, like 8 or 9. Just not willing to deal with traffic until after rush hour is over.
