I am looking for 140+ clear 12 oz bottles- if you can suggest a source, that would be great!

I would give Derek a call
I would give Derek a call over at myLHBS (my local homebrew store.) He can hook you up with the bottles. He's based in Fairfax, VA. Alternatively, there is a homebrew store in Columbia, MD that isn't too far away (40 min drive from DC). They have various clear bottles there too. Derek is much closer though.
I take it you aren't a homebrewer? I can't help but imagine you're selling those clear bottles full of different colored sands. Please tell me this is the case.
Thanks, Brian. Derek was
Thanks, Brian. Derek was great and I ordered my bottles.
Sand and Corona- sounds perfect!
have a Corona party?
have a Corona party?
Wouldn't be much of a party
Wouldn't be much of a party with only 6 cases! Actually, we have a product that we want to show the color and texture, so if you have a source, please let me know.
That's cool that you are
That's cool that you are trying to get (and show off) the right color for your beer, but you might end up doing so at the expense of taste. Beer begins getting 'skunked' the moment sunlight hits it. Thats why Coronas always taste skunky--it's the style and the bottle. If you are making a Mexican lager go for clear bottles, but otherwise, I would show off your color and texture in a nice clear pint glass when you pour the beer in.
We generally use brown because it blocks UV rays that react with the hops in a beer and cause skunk flavor. This is also a problem in the summer when we drink beer outside. Drinking a beer in a clear glass on a sunny day will start to skunk your beer as you drink it. Many a good beer has been ruined that way for me. Drinking in the shade helps.
