This is a reminder that this month’s meeting is Thursday the 27th at 7pm (see below for the details).
If you have not yet picked up your pre-ordered DCHB t-shirts, I’ll bring them to the meeting. We’ll have a few extras for sale too, $15/per, men’s and women’s sizes available.
Call for Volunteers: Meridian Pint is hosting it’s Oktoberfest block party on Saturday, October 6, and they’re looking for volunteers to help pour beer from 12-6pm. DCHB is also going to have a booth at the shindig to get the word out about the club and homebrewing. Please let me know asap at joshua *punto* hub ner at gmail *punto* com if you can help out. Thanks!
Now, on to the good stuff…
Oktoberfest is upon us yet again, so get ready for beers and lederhosen, because September is lager month! Martin and Kristen will host this September meeting in honor of Germany’s Oktoberfest with some homemade hirschentewurst (deer & duck sausage), some German beer, roasted chicken, sauerkraut, and shennanagins! There may also be hot, hot pretzels…
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 27, 2012, at 7:00PM. Martin & Kristen live in Arlington just off the Orange line, two blocks from the Ballston Metro stop.
